Lane Restrictions Scheduled in Philadelphia and Bucks County for Bridge
Inspections

Lane restrictions are scheduled on several highways in Philadelphia and
Bucks
County, for bridge inspections, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation
(PennDOT) today announced.

Weather permitting, the bridge inspection schedule is:

• Monday, March 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
the
ramp from eastbound Interstate 76 to northbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt
Boulevard) in
Philadelphia;
• Monday, March 14, through Thursday, March 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
closures are scheduled on westbound Route 291 (Penrose Avenue) between 26th

Street and Bartram Avenue in Philadelphia;
• Friday, March 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on

eastbound Route 291 (Penrose Avenue) between Bartram Avenue and 26th Street
in
Philadelphia;
• Saturday, March 19, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled
on
eastbound Route 291 (Penrose Avenue) between Bartram Avenue and 26th Street
in
Philadelphia; and
• Tuesday, March 22, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the right lane is scheduled
to
close on northbound Interstate 95 at the Route 63 (Woodhaven Road)
Interchange
in Bensalem Township, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised to allow additional time for travel where the
inspections
are taking place.

The bridge inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect state
bridges
at least once every two years. The inspection ensures the safety and
overall
condition of the structure.
