Upper Darby Twp - Routine Notification

This message is from DELCO ALERT

This is a message from Mayor Tom Micozzie; a winter storm is expected to arrive in the area within the next 24 hours. While the forecasted accumulation totals are hard to pin down ; I am asking residents to obey all traffic regulation , do not park vehicles on the corners of streets and please do not park in front of fire hydrants.
The Snow is forecasted to fall at heavy amounts during the storm and may cause white outs: during possible white out situation use common sense and stay off the highways and local streets unless absolutely necessary. Your cooperation will allow highway crews the necessary access to local roads for clearing of the fallen snow.
At this point Upper Darby Township has NOT declared a snow emergency. Township staff has made the necessary preparations to handle the storm and will continue to monitor the development of the snow fall and adjust accordingly. Your cooperation with the snow removal efforts will be appreciated. Thank you.
