Chester Water Authority to Restrict Baltimore Pike This Week for Water Main
Improvement in Kennett Township

Chester Water Authority is planning a right lane closure on northbound East

Cypress Street/Baltimore Pike between Cope Road and McFarlan Road in
Kennett
Township, Chester County, on Wednesday, March 22, through Friday, March 24,

from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for water main installation, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through this area.
The
work schedule is dependent on the weather.

The Chester Water Authority will complete the project under a PennDOT
Highway
Occupancy Permit.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides
traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.
