Travel Restrictions Scheduled on Several State Highways for Maintenance
Operations in Bucks and Delaware Counties

12/1/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

Travel restrictions are scheduled on several state highways in Bucks and
Delaware counties for maintenance operations, the Pennsylvania Department
of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, December 4, through Wednesday, December 6, from 8:00 AM to 4:00
PM,
Route 152 (Hilltown Pike) is scheduled to close between Broad Street and
Limekiln Pike in Hilltown Township, Bucks County, for pipe replacement.
During
construction, Route 152 (Hilltown Pike) motorists will be detoured over
Callowhill Road, New Galena Road and Limekiln Pike; and
• Monday, December 4, through Friday, December 8, from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled on Interstate 476 from the
Media/Swarthmore Interchange to just north of U.S. 30, in Springfield,
Marple,
Haverford and Radnor townships, Delaware County, for pothole patching.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities
are
weather dependent.
