Travel Restrictions Scheduled on Several State Highways Next Week for Tree
Removal Operations in Chester and Bucks Counties

Daytime travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state
highways
for tree removal operations in Chester and Bucks counties, the Pennsylvania

Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, December 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging
are scheduled on Little Washington Lyndell Road between Route 282 (Creek
Road)
and Marshall Road in East Brandywine Township, Chester County;
• Monday, December 18, and Tuesday, December 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Minsi Trail between Route 113
(Souderton Road) and Quarry Road in Hilltown Township, Bucks County;
• Monday, December 18, and Tuesday, December 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on New Galena Road at Barry Road
in
New Britain Township, Bucks County;
• Wednesday, December 20, and Thursday, December 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on New Galena Road at Farber
Driver in New Britain Township, Bucks County; and
• Wednesday, December 20, and Thursday, December 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Geigel Hill Road at Upper
Tinicum Church Road in Tinicum Township, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities
are
weather dependent.
