King of Prussia, PA – Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on
several
state highways in Montgomery and Delaware counties for maintenance
operations,
the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Tuesday, December 12, and Wednesday, December 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
Route 663 (Layfield Road) will be closed between Kutztown Road and Route 73

(Big Road) in Upper Hanover and New Hanover townships, Montgomery County.
During construction, Route 663 (Layfield Road) motorists will be detoured
over
Route 100, Route 73 (Big Road) and Kutztown Road; and
• Monday, December 11, through Friday, December 15, from 9:00 AM to 2:30
PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled on Interstate 476 from the
Media/Swarthmore Interchange to just north of U.S. 30, in Springfield,
Marple,
Haverford and Radnor townships, Delaware County, for pothole patching.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
