I-476 Overnight Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week for Sign Maintenance in
Montgomery and Delaware Counties

Overnight lane closures are scheduled on northbound and southbound
Interstate
476 between the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Interstate 95 interchanges in
Plymouth, and Lower Merion townships, and West Conshohocken Borough,
Montgomery
County and Radnor, Haverford, Marple, Upper Providence, Nether Providence,
Springfield and Ridley townships, Delaware County, on Monday, February 26,
through Friday, March 2, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, for

sign maintenance, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
announced today.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time on I-476 when traveling through the

work area. The contractor's schedule is weather dependent.

Under this regional improvement project, PennDOT is repairing large sign
structures in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties. The project is
expected to be completed in May 2018.

Carr & Duff Inc., of Huntingdon Valley, Montgomery County, is the general
contractor on the $2,122,200 project, which is financed with 100 percent
federal funds.
