PennDOT to Host Meeting for New Falls Road Improvement Project in Bristol
and Middletown Townships

2/27/2018-KING OF PRUSSIA

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will hold a project

update meeting on Monday, March 5, at 7:00 PM in the Middletown Township
Public
Hall of the Municipal Center at 3 Municipal Way, Langhorne, for the
upcoming
New Falls Road project in Bristol and Middletown townships, Bucks County.

The project involves construction of new sidewalk and ADA curb ramps to
improve
pedestrian safety on nearly a mile-long section of New Falls Road between
Durham Road and Bristol Oxford Valley Road.

The purpose of the meeting is to present the public with progress plans and
a
status update on the improvement project. Citizens will have the
opportunity to
circulate among subject displays to gather information and discuss the
different facets of the project with PennDOT's design team.

Construction bids on this project are scheduled to be opened in late 2018
or
early 2019.
