PennDOT - District 6 News: Aramingo Avenue, I-95 Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week for Bridge Inspections in Philadelphia

Aramingo Avenue, I-95 Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week for Bridge Inspections in Philadelphia

​King of Prussia, PA – Motorists will encounter travel restrictions next week on Aramingo Avenue and Interstate 95 in Philadelphia for bridge inspections, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, June 25, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on the ramp from Aramingo Avenue to I-95 South;
• Monday, June 25, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on northbound I-95 between the Island Avenue and Broad Street/Pattison Avenue interchanges;
• Wednesday, June 27, through Friday, June 29, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on northbound I-95 between the Island Avenue and Broad Street/Pattison Avenue interchanges; and
• Thursday, June 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a left lane closure is scheduled on northbound I-95 between the Columbus Boulevard/Washington Avenue and Interstate 676 interchanges.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

The inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect bridges at least once every two years to ensure the safety and overall condition of the structures.
