I-76 West Overnight Travel Restrictions Next Week for Large Sign Maintenance in Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties

King of Prussia, PA – Motorist will encounter temporary lane closures on westbound Interstate 76 between the Spring Garden Street/Haverford Avenue and Interstate 476 South interchanges in Philadelphia, West Conshohocken Borough and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, beginning Monday, June 25, through Wednesday, June 27, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, for large sign maintenance, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area. The schedule is weather dependent.

Under this improvement project, PennDOT is replacing and repairing large sign structures throughout Philadelphia and Montgomery counties.

Work on the entire project is expected to be completed in October 2018.

Collinson, Inc., of Uwchland, Pennsylvania is the general contractor on the $2,441,490 project, which is financed with 100 percent federal funds.
