U.S. 202 Among Several Highways to be Restricted Next Week for Tree
Trimming in Montgomery and Chester Counties

Lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled next week from 9:00 AM to
3:00 PM
on several state highways in Montgomery and Chester counties, including
U.S.
202 (Dekalb Pike) in East Norriton Township, for tree trimming operations,
the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, June 18, and Tuesday, June 19, Matsonford Road between Hillside
Avenue and Old Gulph/New Gulph Road in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery
County;
• Monday, June 18, and Tuesday, June 19, Paoli Pike between Westtown Road
and
Prospect Avenue in West Goshen Township, Chester County;
• Monday, June 18, through Friday, June 22, Route 252 (Darby Paoli Road)
between the U.S. 202 off-ramp and Valley Forge Road in Tredyffrin Township,

Chester County;
• Monday, June 18, through Friday, June 22, Evans Road between Sumneytown
Pike
and Welsh Road in Lower Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County; and
• Wednesday, June 20, and Thursday, June 21, U.S. 202 (Dekalb Pike) between

Germantown Pike and Township Line Road in East Norriton Township,
Montgomery
County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur during these tree removal operations. All
scheduled activities are weather dependent.
