PennDOT - District 6 News: Swamp Road, Park Avenue Closures Scheduled for Maintenance Operations in Bucks County

Swamp Road, Park Avenue Closures Scheduled for Maintenance Operations in Bucks County

King of Prussia, PA – Swamp Road in Wrightstown Township and Park Avenue in New Britain Township are scheduled to close for maintenance operations in Bucks County, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Saturday, June 23, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Monday, June 25, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Swamp Road is scheduled to close between Route 232 (2nd Street Pike) and Worthington Mill Road in Wrightstown Township, for pipe replacement. During the closure, Swamp Road motorists will be detoured over Route 232, Route 413 (Durham Road) and Worthington Mill Road; and
• Wednesday, June 27, through Friday, June 29, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Park Avenue is scheduled to close between Route 152 (Main Street) and Callowhill Road in New Britain Township, Bucks County. During the closure, Park Avenue motorists will be detoured over Route 152 (Main Street), New Galena Road and Callowhill Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zones. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
