Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict U.S. 1, Route 3 Weekdays for Utility Improvement in Haverford Township

King of Prussia, PA – Aqua Pennsylvania is planning lane closures next week on U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Haverford Township, Delaware County for water main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. 

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, February 24, through Friday, February 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) in both directions at the intersection with Morgan Avenue; and
  • Monday, February 24, through Friday, March 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in both directions between Glen Gary Drive and Oxford Hill Lane.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
