U.S. 202 (William F. Dannehower Bridge) Lane Closures Next Week for Bridge Inspection in Montgomery County

King of Prussia, PA – Lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 202 (William F. Dannehower Bridge) next week in Upper Merion and East Norriton townships, Bridgeport Borough and Norristown, Montgomery County, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for bridge inspections, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work locations are:

  • Monday, February 10 and Tuesday, February 11, a right lane closure is scheduled northbound between U.S. 202 (Dekalb Street) and Main Street; and
  • Wednesday, February 12 and Thursday, February 13, a right lane closure is scheduled southbound between Main Street and 4th Street Interchange.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

The inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect bridges at least once every two years to ensure the safety and overall condition of the structures.
