East Whiteland Township to Restrict U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) Next Week for Roadway Construction

King of Prussia, PA – East Whiteland Township is planning a lane closure on eastbound and westbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Planebrook Road and Coffman Street in East Whiteland Township, Chester County beginning Monday, March 2 for utility and driveway installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.  Weather permitting, the lane closure will be in place Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning through Saturday, March 14.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

East Whiteland Township will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
