PECO to Restrict Several State Highways Next Week for Utility Improvements in Chester, Delaware and Philadelphia Counties

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures next week on several state highways in Chester, Delaware and Philadelphia counties for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

Chester County

  • Monday, February 24, through Friday, February 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 82 (Doe Run Road) between Crest Place and Strasburg Road in East Fallowfield Township;
  • Monday, February 24, through Friday, February 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 113 (Black Rock Road) between Winding River Lane and Riverwalk Drive in Phoenixville Borough;
  • Monday, February 24, through Friday, February 28, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) at Main Street in Easttown Township;
  • Monday, February 24, through Friday, February 28, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) at St. Davids Road in Tredyffrin Township;
  • Monday, February 24, through Friday, February 28, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 100 (Paoli Pike) at Route 352 (Chester Road) in East Goshen Township;
  • Monday, February 24, through Friday, February 28, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 352 (Chester Road) between Vista Drive and Monte Vista Drive in East Goshen Township;
  • Monday, February 24, through Saturday, February 29, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on eastbound Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) between Valley Park Road and Pawlings Road in Schuylkill Township; and
  • Tuesday, February 25, and Thursday, February 27, from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM, a lane closure is scheduled on eastbound Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) between Pawlings Road and Lafayette Road in Schuylkill Township.

Delaware County

  • Monday, February 24, through the end of May, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) between Earlington Road and Farwood Road in Haverford and Upper Darby townships.

Philadelphia County

  • Monday, February 24, through Thursday, February 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 30 (Girard Avenue) at 38th Street.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
