I-76 East Lane Closures Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Overnight and daytime lane closures are scheduled on eastbound Interstate 76 in Montgomery and Philadelphia counties next week, for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, February 10, through Friday, February 14, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning between the Hollow Road on-ramp and Belmont Avenue Interchange in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County; and
  • Wednesday, February 12 and Thursday, February 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, from just east of the University Avenue Interchange to the Passyunk Avenue Interchange in Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent and subject to change.
