SNOW EMERGENCY -Township staff has been keeping a close eye on the weather all week. While the forecast models don't fully agree on the exact impact to our area, we are expecting a mix of winter weather, including accumulating snow and strong winds.
To help keep our community safe and ensure our roads can be cleared quickly, the Township is declaring a **Snow Emergency beginning at 12:00 AM on February 22, 2026**. We're asking all residents to please move vehicles and any other items off Township streets and cul‑de‑sacs before the storm arrives. This allows our Public Works crews to do their jobs safely and efficiently. The Police Department will be enforcing these requirements, and vehicles left on the street may be subject to fines or towing.
We encourage everyone to look out for one another, check in on neighbors who may need assistance, and avoid traveling unless absolutely necessary.
Current forecasts show the storm arriving in the early morning hours of February 22, strengthening throughout the day, and wrapping up sometime on Monday, February 23. Our Public Works and Emergency Management teams are fully prepared and will continue monitoring conditions and responding to weather‑related needs throughout the event.
Thank you for helping us keep the community safe and supported during this winter storm. Please be patient and allow crews to work the storm.
