Fort Washington Fire House
1245 Fort Washington Avenue

Residents without power are welcome to come by to:

-Get warm
-Charge phones and essential devices
-Stay warm while power is being restored

Please note: this is a warming station only. We kindly ask that visitors bring any personal items they may need, including phone chargers, medications, medical equipment, and comfort items. Our goal is to provide a safe, warm place during this outage, and we look forward to welcoming anyone who needs it.

The warming station will remain open for as long as the power outage continues.

Cold Weather Reminders

Before leaving your home, we recommend:

-Dripping at least one faucet to help prevent frozen pipes
-Opening cabinet doors under sinks to allow warm air to circulate
-Turning off and unplugging non-essential electronics
-Never using grills, generators, or propane heaters indoors

If you know friends, neighbors, or family members who may be without power, please share this information with them in any way you can.

We appreciate everyone's help in looking out for one another during this cold weather event. Updates will be shared as they become available.

Stay warm and stay safe.
