This is a message from ReadyMontco

*Skippack Township, Montgomery County has issued a Snow Emergency Declaration effective at 6:00 AM, February 22nd, 2026, until further notice.
This Winter Storm is anticipated to produce over 12 inches (or more) of heavy wet snow. Residents should be prepared for power outages and utility disruptions.
What a Snow Emergency means for our residents:
- No parking is allowed on designated Snow Emergency Routes and cul-de-sacs.

- Please move all cars off the street to make room for the snowplows and all emergency vehicles. Any vehicle parked, stalled, incapable of moving or left unattended on any street, may be towed. Each resident's effort help our overall community.
- Road conditions will be dangerous due to a mix of snow and ice. Please stay off the roads and limit driving.
- Please be patient for your development to be plowed as major roads are the highest priority.
- In case of an emergency, call 911
- Do not run generators/gas grills inside, they produce carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless gas that will kill you. Do not use ovens and stoves to heat your home.
- Keep exhaust vents for natural gas appliances like water heaters, furnaces and fireplaces clear of snow and ice to prevent carbon monoxide buildup.
- Report all power outages to PECO at 800-841-4141. Do not call 911 to report a power outage unless there is a life-threatening emergency.
- Do not drive over downed powerlines as they can still be energized.
