Township Declares Snow Emergency Effective 11 AM Sunday 02/22/2026
With a Winter Storm Warning in effect from tomorrow at 7 a.m. with predictions of 10 to 16 inches snow and 40 mile per hour winds into Monday, the Township is declaring a Snow Emergency effective 11 a.m. tomorrow. The Snow Emergency will remain in effect from then until further notice.
This has the potential to be a major storm with significant disruptions in the region. The Township encourages residents to take time today to prepare as conditions will worsen once snow begins tomorrow.
During a Snow Emergency, parking is prohibited on all streets in Whitpain. Please move all vehicles off the street by Saturday night. This guideline applies to all streets, except those where only on-street parking is available.
The Snow Emergency does not apply to roadways in private developments where roads are maintained by your homeowner's association.
