This is a message from ReadyChesco. There is an enhanced risk of severe weather for Chester County on Sunday, June 5, 2016. Possible conditions include 60+ mph wind gusts, hail 1" or greater, and 0.75" to 1.5" of rain in the late afternoon into the evening. There is a much lower, but possible, chance of an isolated tornado associated with these storms.

If you're holding an outdoor event in the afternoon/evening, consider canceling the event. At the very least you should be sure to have an emergency plan on how you will notify attendees of severe weather and know where to shelter attendees. If you're attending an outdoor event, be sure to have a plan to communicate with and reunite with family and friends.
Throughout the day tomorrow we will likely see weather watches and weather warnings issued by the US National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly. Remember, a WATCH means be prepared - a particular type of severe weather is possible. A WARNING means take action immediately - a particular type of severe weather is likely or occurring.
