Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways in Bucks,
Chester and Montgomery Counties

6/9/2016-KING OF PRUSSIA

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
travel restrictions will occur next week on U.S. 422 in Montgomery County,
U.S.
202 in Chester County, and Route 563 (Ridge Road) in Bucks County, for base
and
shoulder repair, and pipe replacement.

The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:

• Sunday, June 12, through Friday, June 17, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM,
intermittent lane restrictions are scheduled on westbound U.S. 422 between
the
Sanatoga and Armand Hammer Boulevard interchanges in Lower Pottsgrove
Township,
Montgomery County, for base repair;

• Monday, June 13, through Thursday, June 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane

restrictions are scheduled on northbound and southbound U.S. 202 between
Route
3 (West Chester Pike) and the U.S. 30 in West Goshen and West Whiteland
townships, Chester County, for shoulder repair; and

• Wednesday, June 15, and Thursday, June 16, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Route
563
(Ridge Road) will be closed between Old Bethlehem Pike and Lawn Avenue in
West
Rockhill Township, Bucks County, for pipe replacement. During construction,

Route 563 (Ridge Road) motorists will be detoured over Old Bethlehem Pike,
Noble Street and Lawn Avenue.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work

zones.
