Saturday Lane Restrictions Scheduled on North Wales Road in Montgomery
County for Resurfacing

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
lane restrictions are scheduled on North Wales Road between Sumneytown Pike
and
Beaver Street in North Wales Borough and Upper Gwynedd Township, Montgomery

County, on Saturday, June 18, from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM for resurfacing.

The resurfacing of North Wales Road will seal the pavement to prevent water

from penetrating beneath the surface and causing damage to the road base,
and
provide motorists with a smooth riding surface.

Allan Myers, LP, of Worcester, Montgomery County, is the general contractor
on
the $6,395,555 project that with resurface 19 miles of state highway in
Montgomery County. The work is financed with 100 percent state funds. All
work
on the project is scheduled to finish in late July 2016.
