PennDOT - District 6 News: PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility Installations in Bucks and Montgomery Counties

PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility Installations in Bucks and Montgomery Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning weekday lane restrictions from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on several state highways in Bucks and Montgomery counties for gas line installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

 Weather permitting, the work schedule is:
  • Wednesday, December 26, through Monday, December 31, Route 513 (Hulmeville Road) between Joshua Drive and Hollandale Drive in Bensalem Township, Bucks County;
  • Wednesday, December 26, through Monday, December 31, Worthington Mill Road between Holyoke Road and Lisette Road in Northampton Township, Bucks County; 
  • Wednesday, December 26, through Monday, December 31, Yardley Morrisville Road between Crown Terrace and Maplewood Lane in Lower Makefield Township, Bucks County; and
  • Monday, December 31, through Friday, January 4, County Line Road between Brookdale Avenue and Buxmont Road in Lower Moreland Township, Montgomery County and Philadelphia. No work will take place on Tuesday, January 1.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work areas.

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
