PennDOT - District 6 News: U.S. 322 Among Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming in Bucks and Chester Counties

U.S. 322 Among Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming in Bucks and Chester Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – U.S. 322 is among several state highways that will be restricted next week from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Bucks and Chester counties for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, December 17, Pineville Road between Brownsburg Road and Thompson Mill Road in Upper Makefield Township, Bucks County; 
  • Monday, December 17, through Wednesday, December 19, U. S. 322 between Downingtown Pike and Phoenixville Pike in East Bradford and West Goshen townships, Chester County;
  • Wednesday, December 19, Gibson Road at Taft Road in Bensalem Township, Bucks County;
  • Thursday, December 20, Bridgetown Pike at Woodstream Drive in Northampton Township, Bucks County; and
  • Thursday, December 20, Ship Road between Stonegate Court and South Pullman Drive in West Whiteland Township, Chester County.
All scheduled operations will be controlled by flagging. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur during these tree removal operations. These operations are weather dependent.
