U.S. 422 Right Lane Closure Scheduled Next Week for Guide Rail Repair in Montgomery County

King of Prussia, PA – Motorists will encounter a right lane closure in both directions on U.S. 422 on Thursday, December 27, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, for guide rail repair, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Westbound U.S 422 between the Keim Street and Hanover Street interchanges in North Coventry Township, Montgomery County; and
  • Eastbound U.S. 422 between the Armand Hammer Boulevard and Sanatoga interchanges in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because slowdowns will occur. The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather.

The guide rail work is part of a $2.2 million project to replace guide rail across the Philadelphia region.

Long Fence Company, Inc. of Phoenixville, Chester County, is the general contractor on the project which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
