PennDOT Names Maintenance Manager for Philadelphia
King of Prussia – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that it has named Daniel Graham as the new county maintenance manager in Philadelphia.
"Daniel is a valued member of PennDOT's maintenance organization and brings a wealth of knowledge to this position," PennDOT Assistant District Executive – Maintenance John Krafczyk said. "His managerial background combined with his highway maintenance experience provides a foundation for him to successfully direct maintenance operations in Philadelphia."
Graham, who served most recently as PennDOT's Highway Maintenance Manager for Engineering District 6-0, will supervise a staff of 66 employees who are responsible for maintaining 359 miles of state highway and 419 state-owned bridges in Philadelphia.
Graham will manage a $27.9 million annual maintenance budget and direct numerous transportation maintenance functions in Philadelphia County, including the development of the annual paving program; winter maintenance operations; pavement patching; and incident response.
Graham began his career with PennDOT in 1991 as a Highway Maintenance Coordinator. He was promoted to several roadway program positions over the years including Roadway Program Coordinator and Inspector Supervisor, before being promoted to Philadelphia County Maintenance Manager.
