Stenton Avenue Closed Today for Utility Improvements in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County through Late December

King of Prussia, PA – Whitemarsh Township has scheduled a road closure on Stenton Avenue between Joshua Road and Flourtown Road in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County, today Friday, December 7, through Friday, December 28, around the clock, for utility improvements, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

During the closure, motorists will be detoured over Flourtown Road, Joshua Road, and Stenton Avenue. Local traffic access will be maintained from the Stenton Avenue and Joshua Road intersection up to 600 feet north of the Stenton Avenue and Flourtown Road intersection.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area because slowdowns will occur during construction. The schedule is weather dependent.

Whitemarsh Township will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
