Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week for Maintenance Operations on
Several State Highways in Bucks and Chester Counties

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in
Bucks
and Chester counties, for various maintenance operations.

The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:

• Monday, December 5, through Thursday, December 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
periodic lane restrictions are scheduled on northbound Interstate 95
between
the Philadelphia city line and the New Hope/Yardley Interchange in
Bensalem,
Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships, Bucks County, for mobile

crack sealing operations;
• Monday, December 5, through Thursday, December 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
periodic lane restrictions are scheduled on eastbound and westbound U.S. 30

between Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) and U.S. Business 30 (Lincoln Highway)
in
East Whiteland and West Whiteland townships, Chester County, for spray
patching;
• Monday, December 5, through Friday, December 9, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM,
lane
restrictions are scheduled on Route 926 (Street Road) between Route 352
(Middletown South Chester Road) and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Westtown
and
Willistown townships, Chester County, for base repair; and
• Wednesday, December 7, through Friday, December 9, from 8:00 AM to 4:00
PM,
New Galena Road will be closed between Dover Drive and Trewigtown Road in
New
Britain Township, Bucks County, for drainage pipe installation. During the
closure, New Galena Road motorists will be detoured over Dover Drive,
Hamlet
Drive and Trewigtown Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work

zones.
