Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on I-76, Route 309 and U.S. 422 in
Montgomery County for Maintenance Operations

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
travel restrictions are scheduled next week on Interstate 76, Route 309 and

U.S. 422 in Montgomery County, for sweeping and debris removal operations.

The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:

• Tuesday, January 3, through Thursday, January 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,

intermittent lane closures are scheduled on eastbound and westbound I-76
between U.S. 1 (City Avenue) and the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Lower Merion
and
Upper Merion townships and West Conshohocken Borough, for sweeping;

• Tuesday, January 3, through Friday, January 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled on northbound and southbound Route
309
between Cheltenham Avenue and Route 63 (Welsh Road) in Cheltenham,
Springfield,
Upper Dublin and Lower Gwynedd townships, for debris removal; and

• Tuesday, January 3, through Friday, January 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
the
right lane is scheduled to close on eastbound U.S. 422 between Pawlings
Road
and Armand Hammer Boulevard in Lower Providence, Upper Providence, Limerick
and
Lower Pottsgrove townships, for debris removal.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work

zones.
