I-95 North Right Lane Closure Planned for Two Weeks for Bridge Repair and
Patching in Bucks County

4/25/2018-KING OF PRUSSIA

I-95 motorists will encounter a daytime right lane closure traveling
northbound
and nighttime double lane closures in both directions between the Route 132

(Street Road) and Route 413 (Bristol) interchanges beginning tonight, April
25,
for bridge deck repair, patching and milling operations as part of a
project to
repair and resurface 13 miles of I-95 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and
Lower Makefield townships, Bucks County.

The work schedule is:

• Wednesday, April 25 through Saturday, May 9, the right lane will be
closed on
northbound I-95 between the Route 132 (Street Road) and Route 413 (Bristol)

interchanges; and
• Monday, April 30, through Friday, May 4, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM,
northbound
and southbound I-95 motorists can expect double lane closures between the
Route
132 (Street Road) and Route 413 (Bristol) interchanges.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 in the
work
area because significant backups and delays will occur. The contractor's
schedule is weather dependent.

Under this improvement project, PennDOT is milling, overlaying and
rehabilitating existing pavement; performing base repairs; installing new
guide
rail; repairing or replacing damaged traffic signs; performing minor bridge

deck repairs; and installing rumble strips and delineators along the I-95
corridor in Bucks County. The entire project is scheduled to be completed
in
the fall.

James J. Anderson Construction Company, Inc. of Philadelphia is the general

contractor on the $29,633,134 project, which is financed with 80 percent
federal and 20 percent state funds.
