Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike) Nighttime Lane Restrictions Scheduled for
Resurfacing Operations in Montgomery County

4/19/2018-KING OF PRUSSIA

Nighttime lane restrictions are scheduled on Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike)
between
North Wales Road and the Bucks County line in Montgomery and Hatfield
townships, on Sunday, April 22, through Thursday, April 26, from 7:00 PM to

5:00 AM, for milling operations as part of a project to repair and
resurface
nearly 11 miles of state highway in Montgomery County, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
zone
because slowdowns will occur during construction. The contractor's schedule
is
dependent on the weather.

Additional state highway scheduled for resurfacing under this contract
include:

• Route 113 (Bridge Road/Harleysville Pike) between Route 73 (Skippack
Pike)
and Route 63 (Main Street) in Skippack and Lower Salford townships.

Under this improvement project, PennDOT is milling the existing roadway
surface
and repaving the state highways with new asphalt. The new pavement will
seal
the roadways and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface.

Allan A. Myers, LP, of Worcester, Montgomery County, is the general
contractor
on the $3,195,777 project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.

Work on the project is expected to be completed this summer.
