Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in the
Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways for
tree
removal operations in the Philadelphia region, the Pennsylvania Department
of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, April 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging
are scheduled on Perkiomenville Road between Salford Station Road and
Goezel
Road in Upper Frederick Township, Montgomery County;
• Monday, April 30, through Thursday, May 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a
right
lane closure is scheduled on northbound Interstate 476 between the U.S. 1
Media/Swarthmore and U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) interchanges in Marple,
Township, Delaware County;
• Monday, April 30, through Thursday, May 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 82 (Doe Run Road) between

Dupont Road and Buck Run Road in East Fallowfield Township, Chester County;
• Tuesday, May 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with flagging
are
scheduled on Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) between Tennis Avenue and McKean
Road in
Horsham Township, Montgomery County;
• Wednesday, May 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging
are scheduled on Spring Mill Road between Morris Avenue and Old Gulf Road
in
Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County;
• Thursday, May 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with flagging
are
scheduled on Philmont Avenue between Byberry Road and Hillside Road in
Lower
Moreland Township, Montgomery County;
• Thursday, May 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with flagging
are
scheduled on Route 232 (Huntington Pike) between Route 63 (Welsh Road) and
Moreland Road in Lower Moreland Township, Montgomery County;
• Friday, May 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with flagging
are
scheduled on Walton Road between Township Line Road and Route 73 (Skippack
Pike) in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County;
• Friday, May 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with flagging
are
scheduled on Neiffer Road between Route 73 (Big Road) and Ridge Pike in
Upper
Frederick and Limerick townships, Montgomery County; and
• Friday, May 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with flagging
are
scheduled on Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) between Fairview Road and Pughtown
Road
in East Nantmeal Township, Chester County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities
are
weather dependent.
