I-95 South Reduced to One Lane This Weekend for DELCORA Pipe Replacement in
City of Chester, Delaware County

4/20/2018-KING OF PRUSSIA

The Delaware County Regional Water Authority (DELCORA) is planning to close
the
right and center southbound lanes of Interstate 95 between the Interstate
476
and Route 320/Route 352 interchanges in the City of Chester, Delaware
County,
from 8:00 PM Friday, April 20, to 5:00 AM Monday, April 23, for the
replacement
of a damaged utility pipe underneath the interstate, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

I-95 south will be reduced from three lanes to one during this
round-the-clock
operation.

Motorists traveling south on I-95 and south on I-476 approaching the I-95
Interchange are advised to allow extra time or use alternate routes because

lengthy traffic backups and slowdowns will occur during the DELCORA
operation.

DELCORA will perform this project under a PennDOT Emergency Highway
Occupancy
Permit.
