Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in the
Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways for
tree
removal operations in the Philadelphia region, the Pennsylvania Department
of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, April 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging
are scheduled on northbound U.S. 202 (Dekalb Pike) between School House
Lane
and Plymouth Road in Lower Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County;
• Monday, April 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging
are scheduled on Argyle Road between Sussex Road and Grenox Road in Lower
Merion Township, Montgomery County;
• Monday, April 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging
are scheduled on Morris Road between Sheaff Lane and Mill Spring Drive in
Whitpain Township, Montgomery County;
• Monday, April 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging
are scheduled on Allentown Road between Sterners Road and Butter Creek Road
in
West Rockhill Township, Bucks County;
• Monday, April 16 and Tuesday, April 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Oxford Road between Frog Hollow

Road and Wilson Mill Road in East Nottingham Township, Chester County;
• Monday, April 16 and Tuesday, April 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Boot Road between Quarry Road
and
Highland Avenue in East Bradford Township, Chester County;
• Tuesday, April 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging
are scheduled on Lehnenburg Road between Thistle Hill and Hawk Road in
Durham
Township, Bucks County;
• Tuesday, April 17 and Wednesday, April 18 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Stump Hall Road between Route
363
(Valley Forge Road) and Route 73 (Skippack Pike) in Worcester and Skippack
townships, Montgomery County;
• Tuesday, April 17, through Thursday, April 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a

right lane closure is scheduled on northbound Interstate 476 between the
U.S. 1
Media/Swarthmore and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) interchanges in Marple,
Township, Delaware County;
• Wednesday, April 18, through Friday, April 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Providence Road between Route 3

(West Chester Pike) and Marlborough Road in Willistown Township, Chester
County;
• Wednesday, April 18, through Friday, April 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on State Road between Route 413
(Veteran Highway) and Grant Avenue in Bensalem Township, Bucks County; and
• Thursday, April 19, through Saturday, April 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Neiffer Road between Route 73
(Big
Road) and Yerger Road in Lower Frederick and Limerick townships, Montgomery

County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities
are
weather dependent.
