Downingtown Water Authority to Close Eastbound Business U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) Overnight Next Tuesday for Utility Work
King of Prussia, PA – Downingtown Municipal Water Authority is planning to close eastbound Business U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Chestnut Street and Route 113 (Uwchlan Avenue) in Downingtown Borough, Chester County, on Tuesday, June 4, from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, for utility work, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
During the overnight closure, eastbound Business U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) motorists will be detoured over Route 113 (Uwchlan Avenue), Pennsylvania Avenue and Route 282 (Green Street).
Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near this work area because backups and delays may occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
Downingtown Municipal Water Authority will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
