PennDOT - District 6 News: I-476 South Ramp, Route 3 Restricted for Resurfacing Operations in Marple Township, Delaware County

I-476 South Ramp, Route 3 Restricted for Resurfacing Operations in Marple Township, Delaware County

​King of Prussia, PA –  Lane closures are scheduled on the ramp from Interstate 476 South and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Marple Township, Delaware County, for milling and paving operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Thursday, June 6, and Friday, June 7, and Monday, June 10, through Wednesday, June 12, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, lane closures are scheduled on the ramp from southbound I-476 to Route 3 (West Chester Pike); and
  • Thursday, June 13, and Friday, June 14, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, a left lane closure is scheduled on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between New Ardmore Avenue and Lawrence Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. The schedule is weather dependent.

The roadwork is part of a $3.9 million project by Marple Associates, LP to improve the I-476/Route 3 (West Chester Pike) Interchange. Marple Associates, LP will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
