PennDOT - District 6 News: U.S. 1 Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week for Guide Rail Repair in Philadelphia and Bucks Counties

U.S. 1 Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week for Guide Rail Repair in Philadelphia and Bucks Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Daytime and nighttime lane closures are scheduled on U.S. 1 in Philadelphia and Bucks Counties for guide rail repairs the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Sunday, May 19, and Monday, May 20, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, periodic lane closures are scheduled on southbound U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between Kelly Drive and Presidential Boulevard in Philadelphia; and
  • Monday, May 20, through Wednesday, May 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled in both directions on U.S. 1 between Route 213 (Maple Avenue) and Pennsylvania Avenue in Falls and Middletown townships, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
