PennDOT - District 6 News: PECO to Restrict Route 73 (Township Line Road) Weekdays for Utility Improvement in Cheltenham Township

PECO to Restrict Route 73 (Township Line Road) Weekdays for Utility Improvement in Cheltenham Township

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures on Route 73 (Township Line Road) in Cheltenham Township, and Pennsylvania Avenue in Springfield and Upper Dublin townships, Montgomery County, for utility installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. 

The work schedule is:
  • Wednesday, May 22, and Thursday, May 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 73 (Township Line Road) between New 2nd Street and Thomson Road;
  • Friday, May 24, and Tuesday, May 28, through Thursday, May 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 73 (Township Line Road) between Holme Avenue and Rolling Hill Road; and
  • Friday, May 24, through late July, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled weekdays on Pennsylvania Avenue between Rech Avenue and Lafayette Avenue. 
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
