I-95 Lane Restrictions Scheduled in Philadelphia and Upper Chichester
Township, Delaware County

Nighttime lane closures are scheduled on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia and
Upper Chichester Township, Delaware County, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

The work schedule is:

• On Wednesday, October 13, and Thursday, October 14, from 8:00 PM to 5:00
AM,
the Bridge Street on-ramp to I-95 south will be closed for bridge joint
repair.
During the operation, motorists wanting to access I-95 south can enter the
expressway at the Allegheny Avenue Interchange. This work will be completed
by
PennDOT Philadelphia maintenance employees; and
• On Friday, October 21, from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM, one lane will be closed
on
I-95 for the installation of overhead bridge shielding on the Blue Ball
Avenue
bridge between the Delaware state line and Route 452 (Market Street) in
Upper
Chichester Township, Delaware County. Initiallly, one lane on I-95 south
will
be closed. Once work over I-95 south is completed the contractor will
restrict
a lane on I-95 north. The work will be completed by the Chester Water
Authority
under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
