NWS Weather Briefing October 4, 2016

Emergency Management Partners and Stakeholders:

Attached is the first weather briefing packet from the US National Weather Service in Mount Holly, NJ for Hurricane Matthew this weekend.

There is much uncertainty with the forecast at this time, so please check back over the next couple of days to see how this storm evolves, and how it could impact our area.

DES Actions:

·       We will continue to monitor this event and provide additional information as it becomes available.

·       The Watch Officer is available through the 9-1-1 Operations Center by calling 610-344-5100.

 The next weather briefing is scheduled to be released by the National Weather Service around 5:00 AM Wednesday, October 5th.
