I-476, I-95, U.S. 1 Among Several Highways Restricted Next Week for
Overhead Sign Inspections in the Philadelphia Region

Lane closures are scheduled next week on several state highways and
interstates
including Interstate 476, Interstate 95, and U.S. 1 in Montgomery,
Philadelphia
and Delaware counties for overhead sign inspections, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, June 11, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
the
ramp from northbound I-476 to Germantown Pike in Plymouth Township,
Montgomery
County;
• Monday, June 11, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
Vine
Street between Route 611 (Broad Street) and 13th Street in Philadelphia;
• Monday, June 11, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
8th
Street between Vine Street and Race Street in Philadelphia;
• Tuesday June 12, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on
southbound I-95 just south of the Chichester Avenue Interchange in Upper
Chichester Township, Delaware County
• Tuesday, June 12, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on

southbound I-476 between the U.S. 1 and Media/Swarthmore interchanges in
Nether
Providence, Delaware County;
• Tuesday, June 12, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, a right lane closure is
scheduled
on the ramp from the Betsy Ross Bridge to Aramingo Avenue in Philadelphia;
• Tuesday, June 12, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, a right lane closure is
scheduled on the ramp from northbound I-95 to Aramingo Avenue in
Philadelphia;
• Tuesday, June 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled on

Callowhill Street between 4th Street and 6th Street in Philadelphia;
• Wednesday, June 13, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, a right lane closure is
scheduled on southbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) between Old Lincoln
Highway and Southampton Road in Philadelphia;
• Wednesday, June 13, and Thursday, June 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard
Extension) between I-76 and Wissahickon Avenue in Philadelphia;
• Thursday, June 14, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled
on
northbound U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between Monument Road and Presidential
Boulevard in Philadelphia;
• Friday, June 15, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, lane closures are scheduled on

southbound U.S. 1 (Media By-Pass) between Springfield Road and Route 320
(Sproul Road) in Springfield Township, Delaware County; and
• Friday, June 15, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane closures are scheduled in

both directions on I-476 between the U.S. 1 and Media/Swarthmore
interchanges
in Nether Providence, Delaware County.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All activities are weather dependent.
