I-95, U.S. 1 Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week for Guide Rail Repair
in Bucks and Chester Counties

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on Interstate 95 and U.S. 1 in
Bucks and Chester counties for guide rail repairs the Pennsylvania
Department
of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, June 4, through Thursday, June 7, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the
following morning, lane closures are scheduled on southbound I-95 between
the
Newtown and U.S. 1 North interchanges in Middletown and Lower Makefield
townships, Bucks County;
• Monday, June 4, and Tuesday, June 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, temporary
lane
closures are scheduled on northbound U.S. 1 between Route 841 (Chatham
Road)
and Route 41 (Gap Newport Pike) in London Grove Township, Chester County;
and
• Monday, June 4, and Tuesday, June 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, temporary
lane
closures are scheduled on northbound U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) between
Hickory
Hill Road and Brintons Bridge Road in Pennsbury Township, Chester County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather
dependent.
