I-95 North Ramps at Woodhaven Road (Route 63) Remain Closed Following Tanker Crash in Bensalem Township, Bucks County

King of Prussia, PA – The northbound Interstate 95 on-and off-ramps to Woodhaven Road (Route 63) will remain closed for cleanup and repair operations following a tanker crash Thursday morning in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

During this closure, northbound I-95 motorists wanting to access Woodhaven Road (Route 63) will be directed to use Academy Road and U.S. 13 (Frankford Avenue/Bristol Pike) or Route 132 (Street Road) and U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) to access Woodhaven Road (Route 63). Eastbound Woodhaven Road (Route 63) motorists wanting to access northbound I-95 will be directed to use U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) and Route 132 (Street Road).

Both ramps will remain closed while PennDOT's contractor makes necessary repairs to the roadway.

The ramp from eastbound Woodhaven Road (Route 63) to northbound I-95 is expected to reopen sometime tonight, while more extensive repairs to reopen the northbound I-95 ramp to Woodhaven Road (Route 63) are expected to be completed by Friday night, February 8.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
