ReadyMontco Message

Hello, this is Lower Providence Township with an important announcement.

A Snow Emergency has been declared for the Township in anticipation of the predicated snowfall.

The snow emergency starts at 12:00 pm Wednesday, February 20th and ends at 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 21st subject to change.

During this emergency:

No vehicles shall be parked on the odd numbered side of the street.

No person shall operate a vehicle upon any street without chains or all-weather tires.

Any vehicle parked, stalled, incapable of moving or left unattended on any street, may be removed or towed by the Police Department.

No person shall deposit snow upon any street.

Any questions regarding the snow emergency declaration should be directed to the Lower Providence Township Emergency Manager at 610-635-3546 or the Lower Providence Police Department at 610-539-5901.

Please try to limit travel during the anticipated storm.
