I-95 South Among Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming, Brushing Operations in Philadelphia Region

​King of Prussia, PA – Several state highways will be restricted next week, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, in the Philadelphia Region for tree trimming and brushing operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:
  • Monday, February 18, lane restrictions are scheduled in both directions on Rose Tree Road between Briar Lane and Crum Creek Road in Upper Providence Township, Delaware County for brushing;
  • Monday, February 18, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on State Road between Old State Road and Old Mill Drive in Upper Providence Township, Delaware County for brushing;
  • Tuesday, February 19, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Eagle Road between Paul Road and King of Prussia Road in Radnor Township, Delaware County for tree pruning;
  • Tuesday, February 19, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Yerger Road between Gerloff Road and Neiffer Road in Upper Frederick Township, Montgomery County for brushing;
  • Tuesday, February 19, through Thursday, February 21, lane closures with flagging are scheduled on Knights Road between Franklin Mills Circle and U.S. 13 (Frankford Avenue) in Philadelphia for tree pruning;
  • Tuesday, February 19, through Thursday, February 21, left lane closures are scheduled on southbound I-95 between the Bartram Avenue and Essington/Prospect Park interchanges in Philadelphia for landscaping ;
  • Tuesday, February 19, through Friday, February 22, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Dilworthtown Road between Kashmir Drive and Westtown Thornton Road in Thornbury Township, Delaware County for tree pruning;
  • Wednesday, February 20, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Conestoga Road between Audubon Avenue and Runnymede Avenue in Radnor Township, Delaware County for tree pruning;
  • Wednesday, February 20, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Perkiomenville Road between Old Skippack Road and School Road in Upper Salford Township, Montgomery County for brushing;
  • Thursday, February 21 and Friday, February 22, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Quakertown Road between Gerryville Pike and Route 663 (Pottstown Avenue) in Upper Hanover Township, Montgomery County for brushing;
  • Thursday, February 21 and Friday February 22, left lane closures with flagging are scheduled on westbound Grant Avenue between U.S. 13 (Frankford Avenue) and Bustleton Avenue in Philadelphia for tree pruning; and
  • Friday, February 22, a lane restriction with flagging is scheduled on northbound Spring Mill Road between McCarthy Road and Burnt Mill Road in Kennett Township, Chester County for tree pruning.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur during these tree removal operations. These operations are weather dependent.
