U.S. 1 South Ramp to I-76 West to Close Next Sunday Morning for Bridge Inspection in Philadelphia

King of Prussia, PA – The ramp from southbound U.S. 1 to westbound Interstate 76 in Philadelphia will be closed on Sunday, February 17, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, for bridge inspection, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

During this operation, southbound U.S. 1 motorists will be directed to use eastbound I-76, exit at Montgomery Drive, and turn left to access westbound I-76.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because delays will occur. The operation is weather dependent.

The inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect bridges at least once every two years to ensure the safety and overall condition of the structures.
