PECO to Restrict Penrose Avenue, Stoney Bank Road Next Week for Utility Installations in Philadelphia and Delaware Counties

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning weekday lane restrictions from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Philadelphia and Delaware counties, for utility installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:
  • Monday, February 4, through Friday, February 8, a lane closure is scheduled on Penrose Avenue at 26th Street in Philadelphia; and
  • Tuesday, February 5, through Friday, February 8, a lane restriction with flagging is scheduled on Stoney Bank Road between Stony Hill Lane and Forest Hills Drive in Thornbury Township, Delaware County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
