Several I-95 Ramps Restricted Next Week for Bridge Inspections in Philadelphia

​King of Prussia, PA – Lane closures will be in place on three Interstate 95 ramps in Philadelphia on Thursday, February 7, for bridge inspections, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, on the ramp from southbound I-95 to Interstate 676 West;
  • 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, on the ramp from southbound I-95 to Callowhill Street; and
  • 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on the ramp from northbound I-95 to Callowhill Street.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

The inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect bridges at least once every two years to ensure the safety and overall condition of the structures.
